I can't put my finger on it but something just looks a little off. Can someone help me out I'm having trouble figuring out what's different from all the rest.

This is a great representation of what our country is about these days. It is almost surreal that we have a biracial president. Based on the history of our country, it would seem as if this type of change would not happen in my parents’ lifetime. Apparently, our country was finally ready!

Wow. Looking at this picture is just crazy. Think about when our kids will be in school learning about the presidents and they see all these white faces that kind of look the same, and then they see Barack in the middle, what are they going to think? this will probably be something for sure that teachers will teach our children that this election was really big and it was the first time that we have a biracial president.
Is this pattern going to continue? will there be more presidents like Barack? or will we go back to the beginning?

I think this picture has such a great effect on people, or at least me. Looking at this makes me realize that for years and years, our country has been the same. The president being a caucasian, grey haired male, and once you see our new president, Barack Obama, you see the change our country is about to endure; a change for the better.

I think this picture completely sums up how important this election was. I am very exited for when Obama officially takes office. I am confident that he will do a great job. However, if he does not it will be the let down of the century. For the past year all I have been hearing about is how great Barack Obama is and how he is going to not only make our nation prosper, but also give the United States a fresh way of running the government. From watching the debates and learning all about Obama's plans for our country, everything seems like it will work out, but nothing is for certain. I just hope that people are not letting their guard down because they believe now that Obama is in office that he is going to solve everything because he isn't. We live in a glorious free country that is ruled by the people and with that comes the responsibility that every citizen must shoulder to make our country great. Am I happy that Obama is preesident? Yes. Am I no longer worried about our countries future? Absolutely not.

I agree with Zack when he says that “ I just hope that people are not letting their guard down because they believe now that Obama is in office that he is going to solve everything because he isn't,” because Barack is undoubtedly going to help this country but there is no way that he is going to clean up all of what George W has messed up. Yes Barrack is going to bring change to the U.S. and yes he will fix some problems but I feel like people are just expecting unbelievable things out of him. So really in a nutshell all that I’m trying to say is that I want Barack to do well and I know has going to do good things but people should not hold him to such high standards because remember he’s only human.

Sheffield. You make an extremely good point. Obama can only do so much and people are expecting him to do a ton but he is not going to be able to solve every single problem.

I think that this picture is kind of funny in the way that it represents our countrym and how all of the president are wearing white and all look the same except Obama, and this makes a bigger point of how he is different. I think that this picture is a good representation of our presidents, and I wonder what this picture will look like when we have our next president.

I really like this picture and the message that it represents. Barrack Obama has been speaking of chang throughout his entire campaign and a huge chang has already occured before he even took his first dtep into the white house. Our country has always been about freedom and that you can do anything you set your mind to. We no longer have to say this over and over again, because it is clear now and it can be easily interpretted just by looking at the leader of our nation.
